Aynsley re*cut
Using charity shop bought Aynsley plates, the industrial process of waterjet cutting is adopted to create the ceramic graffiti stencils. The backstamp, floral spray and butterfly from original transfers are enlarged and combined in layers of pattern on the wall of the production rooms. The plates remain as a symbol of the work produced within these walls (of the now defunct Aynsley factory), now discarded, changed forever.
